An increasing number of customers are reporting excellent results using digital printing techniques on a range of our handmade papers both for small edition book printing and images.
Whilst we can give no specific performance guarantees, we have detailed on this page those papers or paper ranges which we know to have been used with success and which are available online from this site. The papers are not coated, the density of the fibres and stability of the paper comes from the techniques of beating and blending cotton or cotton and linen fibres followed by high pressure pressing in both wet and dry states.
Handmade papers tend to be less dense than their machine made counterparts, We quote approximate thickness in microns to provide an additional guide to suitability.
We recommend initial tests to confirm that the printer feeding mechanisms as well as print results are satisfactory.
